Drawing on experience and relationship spanning 25 years and 40 films Allegro is able to put together a realistic and achievable finance plan for your film and take that plan to the companies, financiers, banks, and co-producers who are appropriate for your production.
When your project goes to a company or agency for funding, be it for development or production, you go in with our track record of $200 million of indepdent productions and over 40 films or television drama producing credits.
However do not underestimate the importance of the first step – we are selective about what projects we take on. We value our reputation and our experience and before we attach ourselves to a project we need to do a thorough analysis of your script and other project elements. We are happy to accept submissions from both inexperienced producers/directors/writers and experienced ones. The same criteria will apply – we have to believe that your project is viable. Remember, we don’t get paid unless we are successful so if we take on your project you can have confidence that we believe it has a chance! The film business is high risk and has a high attrition rate, so there are no guarantees, but we will only select projects we think have a reasonable chance of success.
